Final Seminars

  • Room 116 is reserved for us during 1:00-3:30 on August 1-2; let's use it for seminars!
  • Please sign up for a single block or two consecutive blocks, but note we'll cut some short if we have too many speakers.
  • Let's fill Thursday first and leave Friday as overflow to help people with scheduling.
  • I (matus) will be very hands-off with these, and will only give minimal advertising; please be sure to advertise your talk (via the slack and any other method you wish!). Room 116 will be accessible to outside visitors during these hours.

  • 3:00 - 3:30: Ke Li (UC Berkeley) “Overcoming the Curse of Dimensionality in Nearest Neighbour Search” (can be combined with the previous talk if necessary)

Friday, August 2 (overflow day)
